Criteria for Submitting a Senior Portrait
0. Upload Portrait
• TBD
1. Photo Composition
• The submitted portrait must be a half-body or full-body image of the student.
• The photo should be centered on the senior and clearly show their face.
2. Appropriate Content
• The photo must be school-appropriate in both appearance and attire. No offensive, suggestive, or inappropriate gestures or poses are allowed.
• Clothing must comply with the school’s dress code. Avoid attire with offensive language, images, or references.
3. Individual Portrait
• The picture should feature only the senior student. No other people or animated characters are permitted.
4. Background and Setting
• The background should not be distracting. Avoid cluttered or busy scenes. Simple, neutral, or outdoor settings are recommended.
5. File Requirements
• Submit high-resolution photos in JPEG or PNG format, with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI.
• The file name must include the student’s full name.
6. Prohibited Elements
• No props or items that could be considered inappropriate or disruptive.
• No filters or edits that significantly alter the student’s appearance or add distracting elements.
• No selfies.
7. Submission Deadline
• All portraits must be submitted by November 30, 2025. Late submissions will not be included in the yearbook.
8. Review and Approval
• All submitted photos will be reviewed by the yearbook committee to ensure they meet the required criteria.
• If a photo does not meet the requirements and is submitted at least two weeks before the deadline, the student will be notified via school email and given an opportunity to resubmit a compliant photo.
• All resubmissions must be received by the final deadline.
9. App Usage Restrictions
• Do not use apps such as Snapchat, Instagram, or similar platforms to take or edit your portrait.
• These apps often apply filters and incorrect dimensions, which can distort the final image and make it unusable for print.
10. Optional Submission
• Seniors are not required to submit a senior portrait.
• If a portrait is not submitted, the professional photo taken for your student ID will be used in the yearbook
