Congratulations to all of our graduating students and their families! This is a very special time as we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of the Class of 2026. We are proud of every student and look forward to honoring them during our Graduation Ceremony.

SMHS Celebrates Student Excellence at Spring Academic Awards
On Wednesday evening, March 18, 2026, Santa Maria High School proudly hosted its annual Spring Academic Awards celebration. On a beautiful spring night, families and friends filled Wilson Gym to honor the outstanding academic achievements of SMHS students.
An impressive 416 students earned a grade point average of 3.8 or higher during the fall semester—a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. Students in attendance were individually recognized on stage and received a certificate of achievement, along with awards reflecting their continued academic success.
Mr. Campbell co-hosted the evening and personally congratulated students as they received their honors. This event also marked a special milestone, as it was Mr. Campbell’s final Spring Academic Awards ceremony as principal of SMHS. We extend our heartfelt appreciation for his leadership and dedication to student success.
A special thank you goes to Ms. Veronica Morales for organizing such a memorable event. We also recognize and appreciate the support of Betty Gamiz, Ivette Davis, Monica Garcia, Mayte Olivera, Nancy Navarro, and the SMJUHSD Interpreting Team—Alejandra Fulton, Salustia Avila, Maria Quintanilla, and Keyla Santos—for their contributions in making the evening a success.
It was truly a wonderful night filled with proud families, accomplished students, and a shared celebration of academic excellence.
